The orange (specifically, the sweet orange) is the fruit of the citrus species.The origin of the term orange is presumably the Sanskrit word for "orange tree".The majority of their crop is used mostly for juice extraction.Oranges, like most citrus fruits, are a good source of vitamin C.Oranges, whose flavour can vary from sweet to sour, are commonly peeled and eaten fresh or squeezed for juice.

  • 4-5 orange
  • 1 1/2 cups of Vanilla ice cream
  • 3-4 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 Cardmom powdered


  1. 1.    Combine the orange peices, sugar, vanilla ice-cream,cardmom and blend in a blender till the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  2. 2.    Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 2 individual glasses.

3.    Serve chilled.
