Tandoori Chicken-Restaurant style

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE MARINADE

Plain yogurt-2TBSPLemon juice-1TBSP
Spices:
  • Crushed black pepper-1tsp
  • Ground cinnamon-1tsp
  • Cumin powder-1 tsp
  • Crushed ginger-1tsp
  • Salt-as per taste 
  • Finely minced garlic-1TBSP
  • Garam masala-1TBSP
Ghee/clarified butter-1TBSP
Oil sprayChicken -12pieces drumsticks
Chopped onion-1
Cut lemon-to garnish
Cilantro-to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Tak a bowl,mix yogurt and lemon juice. Add to it all the spices, minced garlic,tablespoon of oil mix them all to make a thick marinade.
  2. Now take the peices of chicken in each of two zip-lock bags, and start adding the marinade to each bag. Then close the bags and shake them until the chicken is well-coated with marinade. Put them in the Refrigerator for few hours 2-4 hours. 
  3. After this take the chicken out of the refrigerator and insert the skewers inside of each chicken and put a dash of ghee on each chicken peice .Next step is to put them in a line in the large baking pan with foil in the base, lay the chicken in the pan spray them with oil spray and make sure that air can circulate under the roasting chicken, and pre-heat your oven to 425. 
  4. Be prepare that the chicken pieces on the pan are not touching. 
  5. Now,place the pan with the chicken in the oven, and leave the door closed . Turn the chicken pieces once after 30 minutes of cooking time, then roast for another 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Take out the chicken to a serving dish, garnish with the onion rings ,lemon, and Cilantro.
  7. Enjoy,the easiest restaurant style-Tandoori Chicken.
