Easy Homemade Paneer


Easy Homemade Paneer


Paneer is also known as cottage cheese.This can be used for many recipes and in many cuisines.Please follow the below steps to make your fresh paneer anytime at your home.


Ingredients:


1L full-fat milk
2 tbsp lemon juice

  1. Bring milk to boil.
  2. Add lemon juice and gently stir the milk.
  3. Immediately you can see the entire milk begins to curdle, switch off the flame. 
  4. Allow it to settle for few minutes.
  5. Pour it in a thin cheese cloth/muslin cloth.
  6. Rinse it under running water to remove the smell of the lemon juice.
  7. Drain the water completely as shown in the above image.
  8. Than tie it tightly and hang it for few hours.As shown in below image.
  9. After the above step, take it down and put it under some weight so that it will remove the extra water from it .Let it sit for a hour and than take it out from the cloth and you can cut it into a small peices.
